New Member Introductions Thread

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the forum, not new to skiing. Just took a 15 year hiatus and now I'm getting back into it. I'm hoping to find some information on places to ski that may be a bit off the beaten path, smaller mountains, suitable to get my son started before we venture to the places I used to frequent in NY. It's sad to see Windham went the way of an expensive country club. I hope others don't follow suit. That is the first place I ever skied when I was 16.

Are you familiar with the Indy Pass? It's relatively new and did not exist 15 years ago. It's a great way to explore smaller, less frenetic ski areas.
