I thought that I would add some of my collection of press releases from Killington. Here is one from the Skyship debut:

I like how on the 1st pic the map shows Rams Head going all they way to the top. (Horn trail is shown)

Also like the pic of DMC on the chair in the Oct 1992 pic. :D

Yep! You kept a lot of junk. 10 more years and you'll be able to sell it on Ebay for a couple lift tickets.

And by then a lift ticket will require a second mortgage.

I've skied K-Mart in the early 80s on Halloween.

And I've also been there when they had someone out in front of the line on Thanxgiving weekend advising that it was far too crowded and dangerous up there and advising against buying a ticket.

Later that day I rode up with two guys who were skiing without tickets. They explained that they'd been advised not to buy tickets, but they hadn't been advised not to ski. ;)

They catch you without a ticket at Smuggs, they accompany you to the office.

I remember sking Killington on my birthday, November 12th 1990 at Okemo. My brother and I were skiing Upper World Cup and what was left of Lower World Cup.

They were making snow on the upper part, and the lower part was patches of snow with long stretches of mud, moooooo.

I got tired of taking off my ski's on the lower part and went mud surfing, the ski patrol guy was less than thrilled with that to say the least.

We had come up to view foliage, but alot of skiers were disapointed that K had closed with the warmer weather.

I liked the old days at Killington, because they made skiing stretch on as long as they could, and that made my summer's that much shorter.

I bought stock in SKII because I beleived in their philosophy of making snow and skiing WHENEVER possible, not just whenever PROFITABLE.

I have skied 248 days of the year out of 365 at Killington

I positively hate ASC's management of Killington, for me it has lost 75% of it's soul.

My favorite mountain without fail is Sugarloaf.
