I never purposely collected lift tickets on my jacket. Sometimes I'll have a few on just because I was to lazy or didn't have access to a tool to snip them off. On the other hand I've had the same season pass for years. They don't send you a new one when you renew the pass for the next season. You use the same pass. The picture on the pass doesn't even look like me anymore. I've greyed considerably from when the picture was first taken.

so i just stick the new one over the old ones...they expressly ask you not to do that, but no one has ever said anything to me...eventually i'll have to cut it off i guess

I used to do exactly that until one very cold day the ticket came off. the glue on the tickets isn't so sticky when it is real cold. i had paid cash so I had no proof I had purchased a ticket and was an issue with the lifties. Ultimately I was issued a new pass but wasted part of the day being snowmobiled to the main base, pleading my case, etc...

You know, I read something a few days ago that nowadays a women will quickly judge a guy by the phone he uses, even more than the car you drive.

I could not find any supporting evidence however based on a 20 second Google search

Yeah it was on the news ( or one of those morning shows that pass as "news") the other day, I was half paying attention while fixing breakfast. I thought the female news commentators said that guys "think" that chicks will judge them by their phone, the women commentators had a laugh at that, say "it ain't the phone guys .. hahaha"

Elk still uses the metal wickets and sticky tickets (metal wickets and sticky tickets is the name of my new album, coincidentally), and i'm too lazy to take it off every time i go, so i just stick the new one over the old ones...they expressly ask you not to do that, but no one has ever said anything to me...eventually i'll have to cut it off i guess :(

I do that all the time also. I guess once your ticket stack is like a deck of cards it's probably time to trim them.

my cut off point is going to be >1" thick...it's like that guy that started painting a baseball, and just kept adding layers of paint until it was about 6 feet wide

A long time ago I worked at Hunter..
One of my co-workers pre-stamped a few hundred tickets... With the WRONG DATE...
We were charged with destroying them... We spent a whole night making stuff...
I have a few of these around the house...

It was cool in 1994 but now it's a tell-tale sign of a gaper!! haha
I do keep all my old tickets in a box though...with all my trail maps.

I keep most of my trail maps, especially from mountains that i don't frequent in a box.... lift tickets tend to pile up in a corner of my house for the year too, so i guess i cut em off and save them. Until my wife makes me throw them away someday....

I do have some 'special'/memorable pow days on a cork board..

That really dates that movie. It pokes fun at how small cell phones were getting. We've come full circle from there. I actually chose the Samsung Galaxy II over the Samsung Galaxy III because the GIII was SO huge it was like holding a friggin' tablet to your face. It's getting ridiculous again, just ridiculously large instead of ridiculously small.

Plattekill does too.

What is it? Can you eat off it?!

It looks like a wheel of brie.

I used to, then I broke the zipper of my jacket.

Then I went through a phase of collecting pins and now stickers.

Every now and then I pick up a unique piece of logo clothing. I am particularly fond of my valle nevado neck gaiter... Mostly because I doubt I will ever make it back there... So I wear it proudly.
