perhaps we can convince them that it's not the only sport in the winter olympics. Myself it was alpine skiing.

Was at Whistler for the first week of the '88 olympics....

....then came home to the US for the second.

The inferior US Olympic coverage "product" (compared to our friends up North) was so poor as to be laughable. Don't think that's changed that much.

In Salt Lake they did give some good x-c coverage....but overall we just don't get it here in the states.

Hockey and Figure Skating are all that seem to exist in the minds of network execs. A shame....

Downhill skiing was killing everything when TGR was voting strong. Now I think every ski forum around is voting. Who thinks there must be a cross country skiing forum bigger than us all put together :wink:

I voted for hockey. Sorry guys. I love skiing but hockey is just more exciting to watch than racing.

I voted "Freestyle Skiing". I enjoy the mogul comps the best. Downhill is cool too.
