Perhaps more than anywhere else - Lake Louise and Sunshine Village are must skis in my lifetime.

I don't agree with much that Ski Magazine says, but I do agree that region is 'the supermodel' of North American skiing.

I apologize in advance for the non 'pg' comment, but that super model not only looks good, but I'm sure she'd be heavenly to ride

I loved sunshine and lake louise when I was there in 2002. Definetly two awesome places to ski. But then i crossed over into bc and skiied kicking horse this winter. That place I think topped both sunshine and lake louise. The views were incredible and the skiing was amazing. Incredible steeps and very few people. On our way back to calgary we stopped by sunshine for a day and it was like skiing in kansas by comparison. Still a lot of fun but didn't quite compare after skiing Kicking horse for a couple of days.

I definately recommend Sunshine Village and Lake Louise. Skied there 2 years ago and wow, just wow. There's a ton of terrain, amazing terrain and Banff is an amazing town. There's so much to do around there too. Definately a must-visit destination...even though most Americans have never heard of this place.

Banff and Lake Louise

We spent 8 days out there a few years ago. 4 nights at Chateau Lake Louise and 4 nights at Banff Springs. It was heaven, great skiing at Lake Louise and Sunshine, and awesome hotels. In addition, as a former hockey player who brought his skates and stick, playing in a pond hockey game with the staff on Lake Louise behind the hotel with the mountains and glacier as background was as close to Nirvana as I'll probably ever get.
