I can't believe I'm the first one to post this wonderful news. Everyone must still be sleeping off the "haze" from last night. 8)

What a great game, well played by both sides, and enjoying it in the company of many family and friends with some great food just made it even better. Vinatieri's leg puts the icing on the cake once again!!!

What was the "under" for this one? I don't think anyone could have predicted such a high scoring game from two defensive teams.

Way to go Pats!

Just when you figure they've blown it, they once again pull out the lucky rabbits foot and escape from the jaws of defeat. That out-of-bounds kick-off at the end had to be the key play. Sure, they might have marched down and scored anyway, but it would have been harder starting from perhaps the 18 yard line.

Now if the Red Sox can figure out a way to play like this, there'd be a lot less angst in New England.

Great game! The 4th quarter truly was the best. I though it was over after Brady's interception lead to a Carolina touchdown. How about that fake for 2?!? I guess after Vinatieri struggled with the first two field goal attempts, he was bound to make the game winner. Let's see...the only two superbowls that I can remember being truly entertaining both featured the Pats winning. I found this thread:

The over/under was either 37 or 38 depending on which sports line you used, so the conventional wisdom went out the window by the middle of the 4th quarter! What a great game!

All I want when I grow up is to be Tom Brady. Is that asking so much......????

I was practically hyperventilating for the last minutes of the 4th quarter. Ack! It took me a long time to come back down after Adam's kick.

Wow. Twice in three years. Belichick has written himself a place in sports history.

I asked about the under because someone on this board had said "Always bet the under", and I didn't think they would be giving 60+ for that game. Makes me glad I'm not a gambling man.

As for Tom Brady, he's got the world in his hands and he seems to be handling that quite well. I'm glad he could do it a second time after such a successful season. Maybe the media will start giving him credit as a skilled QB.

For the record.

I bet the over and plan to collect this Thursday. I have posted before about always betting the over in SuperBowls. In close to 30 years 4 games have been under 38 points. Pretty much easy money if you ask me.

Stayed away from picking the Patriots b/c I could not get a line below 3.

Put $10.00 down early in the year that Janet Jackson's right nipple would be pierced and "pop" open during the SuperBowl. At 34,567 to 1, I plan on retiring after I collect on that one. Who new??

peace.

What a game! This team just never quits. I was a bit miffed by Brady's INT but he came back with a great drive and Adam capped it off again. I wonder how many babies born in the next couple of months will be named Adam, Tom or Brady. Maybe someone may even get a middle name as Belichek! We need a Pats Emoticon!
