I'm surprised how many people go all the way out west for 3-5 days of skiing..go for a full week or 8 days...leave on a Saturday and return on a Sunday...and use 5 vacation days..that's the way to do it..what what..

I'm sure most would like to spend 7/8 days, but for some lodging costs come into play or other obligations.

What's better, going for 3-5 days or not at all? easy answer

but for 3-5 days is almost as much money as a whole week..there's always credit cards if you're short on $$$...

like I said, some people have other obligations and credit cards aren't always the answer for things.

now answer the question, would you rather go for 3-5 days or not at all?

I like getting home on a Sat. That way I can unpack relax and get ready to go back to work. If I dont do it my dad is not around to pick up the slack.

last year we flew out to CO on saturday, skied eldora on sunday, loveland on monday, A-basin on tuesday and flew back on wednesday. My gawd was I tired (which probally was a huge factor in my injury) but It was worth ever penny!

The reason we didn't stay longer was that the person driving us around couldn't play anymore than that and my buddie I went with had just changed jobs and couldn't get anymore time off. This year it sounds like we are going for a full week though!!! So my answers is 3 days are better than nothing but if you can stay longer!

The only *for certian* at the moment is 4 days at Copper in early January. Oh-so-nice that I'm attending a dermatology seminar out there that has me in class from 7-10:30AM for 3 days, the rest of the day is set aside for the participants to digest what we learned that morning. :)

Tuesdays and Sundays the rest of the winter as snow and coupons dictate.

Nice. If you like low angle big ole funky bumps, you'll have a blast. Plus you get to ski with bvibert...

Haha... yeah I'm going down mainly to finally meet some AZers... so hopefully we can have some good bumps to add to the fun.

So when are you coming to Wachusett? I'll give you a bumps report from 10th if thats what you want...

Don't worry. We will obviously be reporting the bumps status at Sundown ad nauseam. I might consider Wa Wa if the bumps are reported as being really really good. Hard to justify driving 2 hours for a night session if the bumps are on par with Sundown's for which I have a pass and is only 25 minutes away. Not going to burn a day trip to go there either (no offense of course), as I can get to Hunter or Beast in 2 hours.
