Number of days out goal (2007-08)

I don't believe we've had this one yet for this year. I know some don't have a days out goal. Normally these are the guys that get out 40+ days anyway.... :p I like to have a goal to meet. It gets me out skiing even if the conditions aren't stellar, and I always enjoy myself once I get out for the most part.

I believe my goal last year was 30 days and I scored 34 so I was happy. It felt like a relatively aggressive ski schedule given the busyness of the rest of my life so I think I'll aim for 30 again. If I get more, great!

You?

20 days. Havent had that since the kids were born. Used to be an easy number to reach but seems like it would fit now.

Last year the goal was 50, made 51. This year I've got a crazy work schedule that may allow more time, but then again could change at any time. So, the goal is 75, hope I can make it :spread:

Last year's goal was 20 and I was able to reach it.

I'm shooting for 20 - 25. Between Wednesday nights and wifey being able to ski this year I should be able to get closer to 25. Both sets of grandparents are gung-ho to watch our little one while we ski. :spread:

I don't really like to set a goal because I never know what's around the corner... but if I had to take a guess, I'd like to make it out at least 30 days. If I had to be realistic, I'd say it'd be no more than 40 tops... so somewhere between 30-40.

No goal here. I can ski sundays and tuesdays. When I wake up and it looks good I go skiing, if not, well, just do something else. Not really sure how it all adds up but would guess 30 something or maybe even 40 counting a little trip or 2.

My goal is 35 days this season, though I'm hoping to get a few more. Last season I got 26 days in and that was with only skiing twice in December and being away for training for most of February.

Is three seasons of 100+ days in a row a Hat trick????

I was looking through my calender and I can hit 125 if Blue opens fairly early and stays open...I can have a girlfriend again in the spring...

I want to beat my 60 days in a row streak..

Since I didn't keep track of my ski days last year (and might not even remember to do it this year, though I like the idea of it!), I have nothing to compare to. I'm going to categorize:

My primary mountains:
Wachusett (season pass): 20
Crotched: 5
Greylock (season pass): 2

My Vacation Mountains:
Loon: 1
Bretton Woods: 1
Canon: 1

My Day Trip Mountains:
Pat's Peak: 1
Berkshire East: 1

Misc. Mountains:
Nashoba: 1
Blue Hills: 1

Total Outings: 34 (which is a lot and I probably won't hit that goal)

I'm shooting for somewhere in the 20s. I tend to lose count though, so who knows.

Most of my days will be at Sundown. I'm hoping to get at least one day at each of the following this year:

  • Hunter
  • Snow
  • Magic
  • Sugarbush
  • MRG
  • Whiteface
  • BEast

My first full season of skiing, so I really don't know where I'll end up... but here are my thoughts:

Wachusett - 20 (Nights after work, on bronze pass)
SR - 8-10 (Weekends, gf has the college pass for SR, SL and Loon, friend has a condo at brookside)
Loon - 4-6 (Weekends, gf pass + gf family in Lincoln)
Bolton Valley - 1 (I'm going to be up in Burlington at the end of march for another commitment, and am going to squeeze in a ski day while I'm up there).

We'll see what actually happens once the snow flies...
