I just picked up a Blue brochure and noticed that they raised their Sunday night passes to $25. Wasn't it $18 last year? That sucks. Blue always used to be the uber cheap Sunday night option. Part of the reasoon why I picked up a Mid Week only at JF this year was so I can ski real cheap Sunday nights after the crowds disperse at Blue and Sno. Not that $25 is high for a pass but Sunday night at Blue was always a killer deal.

It was I believe 25 for the first few weeks, then went down to $20 sunday nights.

Wow driving 3+ hours to see snowmaking that you can see on a webcam..that is dedication..
Not exactly. I'll go work out of Port Murray for the day which is like exit 17 off Rt 78. Round trip from there won't be too bad and it'll give me a feel for the the ride will be like for the after work ski nights.

I guess you would take I-78 West to 33north to 248 west to Blue mountain drive..probably an hour..

The main web page now says "Get ready for winter. Blue is making snow"

The conditions page says "Blue Mountain is taking advantage of the cold temps and will continue to make snow when possible."

serious stoke..the guns are still on at Blue..and Camelback is only opening with a Jib park this weekend..

I drove past Blue last night...It looks like they're workng on Main Street and the base area. I'm wondering if they'll be open for the weekend. If Blue opens Main Street for the weekend I may have to go. I think camelback announced that they'll be opening in Dec!!??

There's almost no way they're going to open this weekend..I'm guessing December 5th with several trails open..

Nice Belleayre pic of the day...depending on how much terrain they can get open..it might be a good spot to avoid the crowds on Black Friday..

No thanks. As far as that infamous day, I got to meet a few people that I normally conversed with on line. It could have just as easily been done over a few beers. It is pretty bad when your favorite ski area is the consolation prize of a bet.

I for one am looking forward to hitting Blue a few times this season. Last season was the first time I went there and it was the best Poconos area I've been to yet.
