What is with the quality of them at some ski areas. Look at this one from today at wildcat.

seriously the thing looks like it was taken with a camera phone, isnt it worth it to get a nice camera for the ski area. Also to give the camera to someone who actually has any idea what he is doing shooting. Jay peak is a perfect example, they have nice cameras, good camera men, good skis, and know where to find good pics even if the snow isnt great. Why dont other ski areas do this, there are probably so many gapers that go to Jay Peak just because of the amazing photo of the day pics. It just doesnt make sense why other ski areas dont do the same.

What is even the point of a picture of the day? We all know that resort personnel will seek out the best conditions and view they can find. If a resort only has a picture of the day, I'm highly suspect and hesitate to go there. If one patch of snow remians, guess where the shot will be? Even worse is when they take shot inside on a bad day. Who are they fooling? The best cams are the fixed ones that you can look at and gauge the conditions day to day.
