I was hoping to see some retro-gear, but not a hint of day-glo, fuchsia, teal or neon green. Saw lots of really young kids pizza-wedging down Catapult at Catamount, but also saw some really young kids handling Catapult better than their adult guardians...

I did see a preponderance of those gawdawful spiky helmet covers.

Right where I want to be
Lots of Giants stuff at K. An old school 90's style Giants Starter Jacket. That took me back. Sad sight for us Patriots fans.

Other than that just one nice double eject under the Snowdon Quad on Chute after it passes Great Northern. Those bindings must have been set at 0 DIN because she came straight out of them. There wasnt even a fall involved until after she ejected. It was bizarre. Tumbled end over end. Everyone on the lift gave it scores of 8 or above. A very nice dismount.

Actually you should be proud you are a Patriots fan because there weren't skiers wearing Patriot starter jackets

I think they all went to Mount Snow this weekend ;) They had lines on most every lift, and the number of kids they had in their ski school programs this weekend was immense!

Sugarloaf has had good solid numbers this year in terms of skier visits. Not too bad for how bad the season has been.

2 chairs ahead of me, some guy points his skiis down instead of TIPS UP, and runs them into the ramp and they both come off and the chair runs him over. He was ok, but what an IDIOT!

Saw one of those too (Cannon Monday)!!! Also saw every other thing mentioned in every post of this thread so far. PLUS:

- A snowboard Instructor (with students)....who didn't know how to strap into his own bindings.
- Lift line attendants (presumably earning their free pass)....who F'd up the lines WAY worse than the customers could have done on their own.

More Stupid Pill users clogging up lift lines waiting for their group. I have lost my patience with this crap, I'm pretty rude now..seems to be worse the last month or two. Also lots of lil kids straightlining in pizza wedge, ouch..get them lessons folks. And go-pros galore..yawn...hope I don't get subjected to a yawner groomer run vid. Ridden the lift with lots of people out for the first time this year.

But conditions have left us very happy, 4 days done, 5 left.

But I'd have to say the gaper level was low at Burke this weekend.

Was overrun by a toddler army of 6 spread out across the trail careening straight down an icy blue in tuck position. I can't believe they didn't kill somebody. No adult anywhere in sight who seemed to be supervising. It really made me mad and then I got mad a second time for feeling like a beeotchy old lady!

I witnessed a similar incident to that when I was working the top of a beginner chair a few years back. Two kids were riding up together, at the top one kid performed the same maneuver as above. Before the lift could be stopped the chair swung backward while the ski was still firmly stuck on the ramp leading up to the unloading area. The other kid slid right off and down into the catch basket below. At that point the kid who's ski was stuck somehow managed to dislodge it and unload the lift normally. Whether on purpose or not is unknown, but the little bastard managed to drop his buddy (or brother) off the chair and then ski away unscathed.

What made it most memorable for me though was the mother, who had been on an earlier chair and was waiting towards the bottom of the unload area. Once the kid slid into the net she started screaming like he was Luke Skywalker getting dumped into the Rancor pit by Jabba the Hutt. He was, of course, perfectly fine.
