what i can't imagine is how they launch themselves off kickers and drop back into their line and keep ripping.

Spring of '93 was an awesome ski year with "The Storm of The Century" pounding the entire East coast in March, many, many ski areas went Deep into April, and even Jiminy Peak skied into May that year, and Killington was a deep June bump fest that year.

Ahh the good 'ol days! All though I could probably do without the electric blue/neon green Spyder web stretch race pants I was sporting back then ;)

Meeeeeeeeemories....
200's were the ski of choice... I was on 207's and 203's...
Ran those 207's(K2 SLCs) in a bump contest at Hunter... Bent them in the second heat.. ([Against my buddy Tobey)... I knew i wasn't going to beat him so I went balls out.. Nailed a pateneted DMC Daffy.. And then I almost did an unplanned back flip off the second kicker..And it hurt... :) Somehow in the fray I bent the ski under the boot...

I still think twister-spread combos are cool tricks. I'm determined to learn to twist this season. My daffy is still pretty feeble too and needs a lot of work. Anyway, I started skiing in the mid-90's and I used to be in awe of guys like these when I skied at Killington. Could be partly why I'm such a bump fanatic now. We gotta make moguls "cool" again.
