In the flatlands of Ct. for a little bit longer.
Are there any more details that can be leaked on the satans ridge expansion plan?
Perhaps an artists rendering of what the new area might look like? location of the halfpipe?
Tree runs? snowmaking on tree runs? Super mega halfpipe? skiercross trail? new lifts?
This question would be for chris (industry rep) who might or might not have rode the lift with me and my girlfriend the other day.

And is it just me that thinks 2knees looks like randall from clerks in his pic?

I've seen the plan, but I'm not at liberty to talk about it. Top Secret! Seriously, perhaps Cris will chime in with any info that can be provided at this point. BTW, where did you hear the plan is called "Satan's Ridge?"

In the bar there is a sign that says satan's ridge. That's where i got the name from. It sounds good to me. Any idea on when they would plan to start? this year? next year?
It is almost time to get a new season pass to killington, and a blackout pass coupled with a season pass to sundown might be a good combo for me.
I tell you after seeing the amount of and the quality of park rats at sundown i know they must be itching for a halfpipe. I personally am a tree skier but my nephew wants the pipe.

I've seen the plans, but I can't say too much. I will say this: 2 HSQs and an extra 300 vertical feet.

Ski Sundown started out as Satan's Ridge. The expansion area that Sundown hopes to break ground on is rumored to be named Satan's Ridge.

Well, now I know where that rumored name came from. I think it is a great idea for a name BTW.

Then you would get a bunch of hoodlums and thugs from mountains like whiteface coming to skisundown and starting trouble.

thugs? it will probably be the bump crew pressuring casual sundown visitors to help ski in the bumps. this could get ugly...

FACTS!

a 1,600 foot long conveyor lift will zip skiers and riders to the summit which will gain 236.4 feet in height through cinder blocks. 37 more trails, all with moguls, will be named all after Alpine Zone's greg. think greg's green run 1, gregs green run 2, gregs green run 3.... with the exception of Bviberts blue #17. which will have 3 moguls and 113 benches to rest on.

a foam pit will take the place of what was going to be a half pipe so pow hunter can learn spread eagles and 12 beer taps will be placed in the lift line for 2knees.

also included in the plan are at least 12 lights, for illuminous night skiing.

I fear i may have said too much, but can begin answering questions with a little discretion...

sign me up. i'm willing to pay twice the current season pass price for this!

ps - the only addition i would make is having jarrod in a tower constantly commentating on every skiers run.
