Season Ski Passes

I bought the Bronze pass. I usually get to Mt. Snow and Killington about 8 to 10 days per year. I used the mEtickets for the last few years. I am retired, so I don't care about the black-out dates. This pass will definitely motivate me to make a complete "tour" of the ASC properties in the east this season. It now also won't bother me if I reach a mountain at lift opening time, or knock off early on a marginal day since I won't feel like I am "wasting" my lift ticket.

I bought the Bronze pass. I've nener bought a season pass anywhere before  I typically only made one day trip\year to vermont, Mt. snow or killington in the past 5 five years and Maybe one 3 or 4 day vacation.
I am really excited, about having the pass. I'll have the freedom to ski at 6 mountains. Plus, I'll be able to ski sat and sun. on weekends instead of only saturday's. A Half day sunday and then the 5 hour commute back to NJ. I wouldn't normally spend the money to ski a half day sunday.
I don't care what their target market is. The more people that spend more days on the mountain, the more those people are going to spend their money at the mountain and in the surrounding town's buisnesses. The ASC has got a great stradagy. They would only get one or two lift tickets out of me per year. Buying the bronze pass, they've gotten at least 6 out of me. Plus all the money I'll spend at the ski shop, restraunts and bars. I haven't purchased a pass in 12+ years (as a patroller, I have no shamewhen it comes to skiing for free.) This year, however, I jumped on the bandwagon and got the ASC Bronze. Ironically, I haven't skied an ASC resort (not even on a comp) for about 8 years. I haven;t been to K-mart in 17.)

I'm ready. Just add snow.

Season Pass

Sounds like more of us will be playing in the snow at ASC resorts this winter. If this is a trick to get me to go to their resorts and spend money on other stuff, it looks like I will fall (not on the trails I hope) for it.
