when i was a kid in the 70's my dad had some humorous ski-related cartoon drawings...one of them was titled 'out of control', another was a guy freezing on a chairlift...i don't know what happened to them and cannot find them on the web for the life of me

Gary Patterson's. I have most of them. Same illustrator as the puzzles I posted. "Winter Chill" is my favorite. That's the freezing on chairlift one. Edit: Here you go.

Don't be scouring Ebay for them now! I may have scooped them all up. J/K, I have many & if I bring one more home I may be in trouble. Have @ it. They're are very cool for a ski house, condo, office, etc. Relatively cheap too. I throw a cheap frame on them & they look awesome on the walls. I'll take a bunch of pics next time I'm up in VT. My walls are littlered w/this stuff.

My folks owned a ski house near Blue Knob ski area in western PA from about 1972-87. My Mom's sister was a catholic nun. They were originally from Lowell and my aunt was with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. My folks let the nuns use the house for summer retreats and in 1979 one of the sisters painted this picture of the ski house for a gift to my folks. All are gone now, but the painting hangs in my dining room and as you can imagine holds great memories for me. I stuck a picture of the real house in lower left corner of painting.

BTW, a poster of Rusty's puzzle below hung in our ski house and over the years many guests would sign the poster next to a character they thought reflected their skills or personality. That poster is lost.

Puzzles Art? We are addicted.

Had these made for the ski house and hung them over the fireplace.

Nice Reefbum. Like them. I guess this counts as "art". Signage to the old Magic T-Bar.

Not exactly high art but where I work we all doodle on the work folders. Some have ski themes

This was a few years ago but there were a number of deaths at Cannon.

Should have been blood on rocks on closed trail. Two in 2010 (both no helmets and both skiing closed trails). There was another on in 2012 but was because of a heart attack (not bloody).

It's a doodle. I don't think it was meant to be accurate commentary.
