Right on-----Great friend of mine just had to close 2 of his shops after 40 years in the ski shop biz (his father started them). Very sad day.....hope your friends have better luck.

If I misquote a price to a customer, they get that price; period, end of story. I'll make up the cash for the company elsewhere knowing that I probably built a relationship. The ramifications of people talking bad about my business isn't worth the profit to me.

If someone screws me, hell yes, I'm going to tell me friends and others not to do business with them. My friends and ensuring that they don't screwed as well, means more to me than someone's business. If that makes me an ahole in some peoples minds, so be it.

OK. I think this is getting a bit out of control. Someone had a bad experience and it sucks. I feel for her and I've been there. Sorry that it happened. I can't wait to hear the raves about the shop that gets this right and delivers. There are good shops out there.....sometimes things work out for a reason.
