Can I choose Park City and count all the mountains within range?

Otherwise I cannot answer this question having never skied in Europe.

Has anyone skied in S. America in the (our) summer?

Since my experience is limited to the East, I'll have to go with Sugarbush. Tough choice between it and the Loaf. Would've voted MRG, but would like a longer season and more reliable conditions if I could only ski at one place.

It would be a business trip/tax write off. You are looking to expand AZ into new markets!!

No longer " The Northeast guide to mountain adventure" but "The North AMERICAN Guide to mountain adventure"

awesome...can you afford to live there working for the ski resort??

I work for the Couloir (the fine dining restaurant at the top of the gondola), and it pays pretty well even if Im only a busser. I can cover rent and student loans with plenty left over to have fun with, plus I get benefits, notably health insurance, if I stay on year round. I get to ski all day (my shift starts at 345), and have never been happier. Suer it isnt glamourous, but money isnt everything. Id rather work some bum restaurant job and do what I love to do everyday than slave away in an office 9-5 for 1/5 (at best) of the time I currently spend on snow. Probably wont be making enough to buy a house in Jackson proper, but that isnt in my plans for at least a decade.

Very good set-up you have for sure. I would keep that one as long as you can.

You said a mouthful there Aride. The 9-5, the big house, perfect lawn, wife and kids, it's all been done before. Anyways, if you decide to go that route later you can, you're a young man.

"College degree. Good job. Big house...We all make mistakes." Lay that over the image of a skier mid-flight and you have an old Jackson Hole advertising poster that they used to use. Hell, it was pretty cool, they still may be using it.
