Paradise at the Bush?
good job J84. Now _THATS_ what I'm talkin 'bout!!!!
beat me to it!J84, where is that last one from? I have dreams daily of coming across a trail like that, grinning from ear to ear, then ripping it up.
I saw the last picture of J84's pics and I said the exact same thing to myself - "THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!"

The pics are great, click to enlarge.
notice the huge fracture on the last pic
everyone post some pics to get us psyched
Good stuff lloyd!
those freakin bumps on Eisenhower look like crap. Typical snowboard induced bumps...
thats what I'm talkin about - see those deep trenches? That stuff sux for getting a rhythm going

Deep troughs are not necessarily snowboarder induced. Again, this was a seeded course. Deep troughs don't impair rhythm, erratically spaced bumps and/or poor technique does.

No. I just wanted to point out that course was not affected by snowboard traffic that I know of. The fact that only snowboards deepen troughs or cause erratically spaced bump is questionable too. Crappy bump skiers can kill a run just as badly.:argue:
ooh ooh MOD FIGHT!
This was a seeded course and if I recall correctly, the trough angle was indeed pretty sharp. The run skied well though and the topcoat of the somewhat tacky manmade may make it look uglier than it was.I have skied natural bumps, before snowboards were invented, with deeper trenches. Those trenches in the pic seem narrow but that's not unusual either. Although I don't think I have ever skied seeded bumps I would think that if it's a busy bump run after a day of usage it would become somewhat "naturalized".
For me, they certainly are harder to ski than low trenches and small bumps.
