What are you trying to say about Dork's technique?

Between this comment and your conversation with bvibert about those shades, I think you are trying to foster a more TGR-like environment around here. ;-)

No ;) so I'll assume you're serious. I've never skied with SkiDork so I have no idea how well he skis bumps and my comment should not be interpreted that I'm questioning his skills in any way. I'm far from a great bump skier, but the troughs in that pic do not look overly deep to me, nor did they ski that way. If you're getting continuously sucked into deep troughs often enough to throw off your rhythm, a change in technique is probably necessary, that's all I'm saying...

this has gotten away from the stoke.

In regards to Eisenhower, the troughs were definitely a little sharp in angle but the bumps were nice and soft and the lines, especially from the top down to the second air, were consistent. All in all a very nice course and much fun.

more stoke now, please.

yeah - what 2knees said - they just looked like those sharp drop trenches, not normal bump troughs. You know what I'm talkn about - the ones that seem to be very long and there's no escape...

I'm not a great bumper either. Once in a while I get into a groove. For some reason it usually happens in bumped up trees. Not sure why

Not a winter shot, but certainly one of my favorites, with a great view:

andyzee, I was more or less busting on the pugnacious nature of TGR. I don't get the feeling that you would maliciously comment about another AZer.

Yes it's Mammoth and the picture was taken near the summit. The mountains in the far background are the White Mountains and Inyo National Forest which is the border of California and Nevada. The flat green area in the foreground is the Owens Valley

Picture date is June 9th, 2006
