I know, it's June 8th, but still grasping. How about some reports? I imagine that Tux still has skiable terrain, although limited. As sledhaulingmedic reported, there was still snow at the Mt Washington summit this week. Where else may we be able to find some snow worth skiing. I know a couple of weeks ago there was still snow in Sugarloaf, Sunday River and Hunter, how are they looking now? Anyone planning on turns this weekend?

Boating and hiking season here for me. Hoping to get on the trails at some point...have been lazy with the weather and conditions. A new kayak cuts into things as well...

I read that some people where still skiing on fairly long stretches of Hayburner at Sugarloaf over Memorial Day weekend, but that was two weeks ago. Now the mountain might have some patches, but that is a really long drive for extremely limited skiing.

If there is a patch at the River left I'll find it tomottow. I doubt it though. Memorial day weekend from Lala you could see a decent amount of snow at the Loaf. Plan is to splunk around the mountain tomorrow and find some snow to throw snowballs with. I bet there is some still at the top of Kansas and along the ridge there. Some spots had over 5 feet 2 weeks ago, but small areas. No skiable. I will drive over towards Jordan and give vortex a look.

Glad to hear that the new place is working out for you. I think that the new ownership is certainly not the worst thing that could have happened...at least so far.

Well, you can make the drive to Sugarloaf for the snow if need be....or Tux.
