I think little will be done work related today. Starting to marinate the vegetables for the cook out. Soaking corn in the husk and grilling it. One of my favorites. Otheres have the flesh preparation task.

Doesn't sound like you'll be suffering being stuck at work too much today! I'll be stuck in front of this damn computer until about 4:30... :( I did take Tuesday off though, so I'll have a nice 4 day weekend. :D

Bob - sounds like a good way to get thru a slow day.

My stupid rookie manager scheduled software training for every Friday afternoon for the next 8 weeks, so today we have a teleconf from 2-3PM. Whoopee....... :(

Here until 3:00 then off to the Garden center to buy my summer vegetables to plant....

The tumbleweeds are blowing through this place.... we'll get Dunkin Donuts (turbo ice for me!!!! :) ) for the office to pass the time. I don't mind working here on days like today..it's quiet and the people stuck here are the people I enjoy most!

What's everyone up to for the weekend?

Very cool. Made me think.

I guess I love my job, cause I get to live the way I choose.

I'm the only manager around. Way understaffed. Can't wait to cook, but may not have enough people to wait on cust. I'm thinking beer.

My boss and I are the only managers here too.. .very short-staffed but I expect we won't have much walk in traffic today... we only have our receptionist, 1 sales person, and 1 warehouse employee!! (we have 24 in this office usually!) Beer sounds good, what time should I be there? ha ha ha

It's absolutely beautiful here right now, although we're supposed to get some nasty weather later on... :(

present..................

they sometimes let us go around 3:00 just before a long weekend, so I might get to sneak out. Not holding my breath though.

Heading up to Intervale after work. Have some yard work to do - leaf pickup so the hostas can grow, put my gravel driveway back where it originally was, those sorts of things. Glad I'm going to have a nice weekend for it. Then it's back to yardwork here in MA on Monday. Ugh.....

I took care up up north last weekend. Working on my yard all week long. I should be able to use it when I get home monday. Hit the brew pubs for us. Enjoy a tuckermans for me.

I tried cooking corn on the grill for the first time last week, it was really good. I didn't soak it though, what do you soak it in?
