I hear that Sugarbush is open and still has great skiing. I understand that their Mount Ellen is open during the school vacation week of April 18th and that their are some great prices that make it worth driving up there. Any more info?

Sugarbush is open until May 1. I was just there and it's still holding up pretty well. We'll see what happens after all this shitty weather though.

I skied there last Wednesday and it was fabulous. Mt Ellen has some great upper lifts with trails that hold snow late into spring.

The plan is to be open the vacation week and weekends, thereafter hoping to make it to May.

We've had a lot of rain the last few days. I was surprised how well things held up when I went out yesterday.

Today all day rain/snow, but it was cold, so I don't think we've been hurt too bad.

I've been skiing South, and North usually makes out better. North will be the only mountain after next weekend, but most of South is still open, now.

I'll know better tomorrow.

Check their website for deals. There are a lot, and I would expect more.

110 and counting.

Skiing at Sugarbush.

Thanks. Think I'll try it. I hear the people are really nice there, too!

I was skiing North Saturday in the rain and Sunday between the raindrops. The snow there is holding up great, with the exception of Tumbler, which is fading fast. It will hold up pretty well unless we get a lot more rain!

I only have 37 days at the bush (mostly at north due to ski coaching) seems like nothing compared to lostone!:)

Yes, North has a great configuration for late season skiing if they have made the snow or have it...the Summit Quad affords some great expert stuff on FIS and Exterminator as well as some intermediate cruising (kind of) on Rim Run and Elbow.

I've got comps that will allow me to get back up there next weekend

my last run when I skied there on Wednesday was Upper FIS to Looking Good, to Tumbler. The bottom of Tumbler was certainly showing some wear. The rest of the mountain was in fantastic shape though. I hope to make it out there next week for at least one more $25 Wednesday.
