Stowe 4/10-4/12....

Hey All,

A-Jeff informed me last night that he is done skiing for the season and Kragan isn't going to Stowe so I'll be driving up myself on Thursday and staying at the Town and Country resort until Sunday..

I'm paying $227 for 3 nights of lodging or about $75 a night..reasonable enough that I didn't feel the need to haggle. My plan is to ski Stowe Friday, Saturday and probably till about 2PM at the latest Sunday and then drive back to PA. With snow showers in the forecast and predicted sunshine this weekend..there's gonna be some really nice skiing at Stowe. Hopefully some AZers will be up in Stowe to meet for some runs/apres-ski. I haven't skied in 9 days and I'm psyched to make some turns in 4 short days!!!!

I'm getting stoked for Stowe..especially with the recent and continuing snowfall..apparently the Town and Country resort is booked up this weekend..at least a couple rooms with PASRs..across the street at the Golden Eagle..rooms are going for $69 a night on Expedia with breakfast.

Any AZers gonna be skiing Stowe Friday, Saturday or Sunday????

I'll be checking the internet from my hotel so PM me if you're gonna be skiing Stowe..

I'm leaving tomorrow morning around 830AM-9AM..there's no point in leaving too early because of the morning rush hour traffic on 22/78/287...I'm taking the homeboy route past Mad River Glen..something about driving from the Megalopolis up the Hudson Valley through the Champlain Valley and over the green mountain Spine into the Mad River Valley and finally to Stowe..the ski capital of the east..pounding a Long Trail Blackberry wheat or Shed Mountain Ale in the shadow of Mount Mansfield..Vermonts Highest peak...

I'm officially Stoked!!!
