I’ll dm you next time, make things easier. Stayed in the woods most of the day.
Those last couple hours were great, Chin Clip and Goat were in excellent shape.

Kind of perfect though - about half way, right? So same amount of driving as day tripping Hunter....
A couple hours longer. Google says 4:40 from Hunter to Northern Lights Lodge. I can do my house to Hunter in 2:35-3:00 depending on traffic, etc.

The perfect stopover is West which is 5 min from Thruway instead of 30. But that is really more a way to break up the drive while Hunter is a place worth the drive to ski at.

Anybody make it to Stowe today? Looking like a lot of lift hold still. How is it looking for them?

Did the Stowe / Smugglers Notch interconnect both ways today, hoping to post a trip report later but for now here’s a few photos

Robins Run, Smugglers Notch:

Heading over Sterling Pond towards Stowe:

Spruce Line, Stowe:

Near the end of the way back to Smuggs over Snuffy’s trail, you reach Sterling Pond again. On right are my tracks from earlier (heading towards Stowe), at back left is the last part of the trail back to Smugglers Notch (same gap in trees, but opposite direction from earlier in the day):
