What about you, Nick? How was your season?

It was just OK. I didn't get out nearly as much as I hoped, I put in a half dozen days at Wachusett, and did Cannon and MRG for the first time, which was great.

I was hoping to get out during that one storm in February. Unfortunately (some may not know this) my mother passed away 2 days before that storm, I had plans to hit up Magic. I was kind of joking about it the whole time, like how typical is that.... anyway I am REALLY looking forward to getting out to Sugarloaf for a full 3 days of slope time this weekend at the summit. I need it badly and even if it's just groomers, I'm still gonna have a blast and enjoy it.

I was also being a little sarcastic earlier on the glass half full comment; it sure was a crummy year snow wise, although there was still some goods to be found, it appears.

Next year, we are due for some major snow after this season!!

Good, got to ski after some nice conditions, and got to ski with family that I hadn't skiied with in many years.

Lame

It started late and will end early. Those resorts that were able to open to 100% did so late in February. I canceled one western trip and the second one I just got extremely lucky. Christmas skiing was extremely limited and spring skiing will be the same.

Powder days = Below Average
Bump days = Below Average
Groomer days = Below Average

I had fun while I was out there, but yeah, I'll remember this season for a while and not for good reasons.

Overall not to bad. I was lucky as I seemed to pick days when it was cold & they got at least a couple of inches of snow as opposed to the many warm rainy days (only got rained out 1 day). Only had one really good powder day though Mar. 1 15" of snow. My ski days were way down this year only having 24, usually I'm up around 40. Depressing that the season is ending so early. Last year I skied till May 1 but unless something good happens looks like Mar 23 was my last day. It was nice to get in on some t-shirt skiing last week which I haven't had for a few years. Looks like my last run of the year is going to be riding the GMX chair down from the summit chair at Mt. Ellen without ski's on. If K had blown some snow this week I'd most likely would have been there but they didn't. I'm not driving to ME. or Jay for what little is left.

Weird.

Despite the lack of snow, I started my season earlier than usual and had my best powder day ever during the Feb storm. I would keep skiing this season, but I just can't get to those far away places for skiing in April, but I'm not ruling out Australia, New Zealand or South America in July or August
