Looking ugly tomorrow. Might result in spring-like bumps by evening, but it still sucks. Even though they were sorta firm, Nor'easter still has a packed powder feel to them. Sqeaky and actually a "hollow" sound to them. Back to good ole CT ice bumps after tomorrow. Maybe a refresh Friday though and the base consolidation will be good for the epic CT woods.

I'm thinking the weather may result in a shortened CISC race session tomorrow. If so, I'll be out to tool around on the bumps including the new course on Stinger/Ex. Should be out around 9 pm, maybe a bit earlier depending on racing.

May be 6:30 to 10:00 weather and health dependent... suffered a bowling injury to left quad-- actually think I tweaked a sledding injury while bowling. Wow aging is a PITA. In any event, quad is quite tender-- it was too tender to even bowl-- so I am not sure how skiing will be. Skipped tonight to let it rest, we shall see tomorrow.

Mohawk already reported a 4 pm closing today. I don't quite get that. It's sleet right now and sleet actually skis pretty well, except for the pelting on the face...

Cant Say I blame em

No, not really. A little surprised at the noon closure though. No real icing here yet. But I guess you don't want a mass exodus at 4 PM if the roads suddenly get bad. I've seen disasters on Ratlum when that happens. Plus probably no walk-up ski traffic and with no after school groups, probably not worth staying open.
