Too many skiing forums, too little time.

Why didn't you ask admin at AZ for a Mogul forum?

Different group, different vibe. Some crossovers, but an entirely different community. The forum has been around for almost 3 years now. Didn't update the forum, only the main site.

Not a fan of black backgrounds, but the layout is definitely better.

My suggestion would be keeping the banner image the same size on all pages and keeping the nav links in the same place (top of the screen looks standard on most of your pages but not all). I can't remember the old page specifically so I am not voting but those two things are definitely not standard.

Good call. I thought it was a little strange how the horizontal nav was at the bottom of the home page and then shifted up on content pages.

Thanks for the feedback. But.......... the nav bar is at the bottom on the homepage and on the "contact us" page because they are not content pages. And, well, I like it, so it stays  :smash:

I like the black also. I agree that the navigation should be in the same place on all pages.

Well.......... I'll think about moving the nav bar.

it's pretty much standard and most user friendly on all message boards. I'm not saying it's not okay to be different, but having the navi-bar in the same place on every page is done so for ease of use. Having it elsewhere on the home page does not 'enhance' your site IMO.

I'd cut the background image in half to bring the bottom elements up...

I like to see things in one screen.. And not have to scroll..

I'm at 1280x800 using Safari

Looks good!
