...wouldn't know a good bump line if it fell on them. Not sure how that could be possible, but you get the point.

The seeded mogul crowd have issues with diveristy and need everything cookie cutter to ski it.

Just because it's made by a cat doesn't mean it's uniform or cookie cutter. But you're right, we totally had to stick to the groomers when we were at MRG last week...

Like boobs. Natural is better even if they're a little saggy sometimes. But if you don't have any, artificial is a nice way to go. ;)

Seeded moguls are great training for up and coming mogul skiiers, so I approve.

Love both, but good natural ones only occur where there is consistent large amounts of natural snowfall and significant skier traffic. 90% of resorts in the east need to seed bumps to offer a consistent quality mogul experience.

Man made airs aside, I wonder when the last World Cup Mogul competition was held on a natural bumped trail. I bet it's been over a decade.

Natural terrain is just funner. Seeded bumps have their place for places where good bumps are never going to form. I'll take big natural bumps on hardscrabble any day of the week

By the way I found out last week the bump skiing in Telluride is WAYYYY underrated. Those are the kind of bumps I like, created by skiers that can ski well and from nice lines on something longer than a 172

Bingo. You also have to have quality skier traffic to form good natural moguls and thats not always possible at a smaller mountain like the one I ski. I find the flow to be much better in a nice seeded line. Bumps with 5 yards of ice between them are no fun.

I was at Deer Valley the week after the SLC Olympics and I can tell you those bumps were seeded and were nasty.
