I think this about sums it up for me.

Yes and No

No because I've got nothing to prove skiing wise to anyone, but myself these days. There's no substitute for fitness and skiing A LOT. Given my life circumstances and only having the ability to ski 20ish days a season and only work out so much, there's a limit to how well I can expect to ski. I just want to do the best I can with what kind of ski life I have to work with, but I know if I or anyone for that matter got out there 50+ days, I could ski a lot better.

Yes because skiing with great skiers like the day I got to ski with you and steveo makes me push myself more. Not because I wanted to impress either of you though, just that going after it is contagious amongst equal minded people. It's not a whip your dick out HIghwaystar kind of stance, if that makes any sense. :lol:

not to get too sappy but i owe you some beers if we ever manage to ski together again.
