Headed out for a few turns now...

Thinking about going Monday. How is the ice? Don't feel like driving 180 miles if it's bullet proof.

We had only snow flurries from midnight last night thru today in the MRV, and no more r*** in the forecast. Nothing that accumulated much, but snowmaking has been going on all day here since it is cold. Forecast is teens and 20s thru the next several days. Weather next Tues/Weds still too far to call.

Guess I'll have to make the call early Monday. Would like to get another session in before heading out west.

Full on snowmaking today and tonight... Sketchy conditions... Rain yesterday - freezze today...

I remember when nothing would stop me from going. Now I'm spoiled by all the trips out west. Becoming a powder junkie. Clairs and Westway will take a while to get back to skiable condition.

Thinking about going Monday. Prob with clairs is the ice. Was on it 2 weeks ago and ended up on a sheet. You can get really tossed around back there. Need to improve my ice mogul technique.
