I work out on the water year round. So yeah, the short daylight and cold weather can be pretty miserable. But at the same time I spend all summer thinking about that first powder day. Skiing/riding is what makes New England winters enjoyable. I don't know how people get through the dark months without it.

i'm older than a lot of you, and don't know what all the fuss is about. Seasons change. Cold feels cold. Dress for it.

however, skiing is not stamp collecting. there will come a time when you can't do it anymore. Live your life to minimize the "i should have....'s", and you'll be fine.

potd!!!

this is so true..just wish I had more time to do it...nothing like a room filled with girls dressed in teeny weeny outfits sweating like crazy:-o

Yup, very distracting. I found time to do it 4 days a week..and I work about 50 hours a week in the city. I go after work..yeah I get home at 10pm but it really works. I got my first day in a Killington yesterday and was able to jump in the moguls right off the bat..I've never been able to do that..never.
