I'd argue ski towns in the west are more liberal than rural Vermont.

I am SO happy I am out of town and no longer have any ownership in the Pitcher or Sugarbush. This will be a shit show in the Valley if it comes to pass. I do not envy what the mountain will have to do to meet security if he or any of his family actually ski. Michelle Obama used to take her daughters skiing at Ski Liberty in PA. Trump used to ski at Jay Peak when he was dating Ivanka and she was an instructor there. The Kennedy’s used to ski here in the mascara mountain era. Ethel Kennedy was a Skakel, and they had a ski home on Brook Road in Waitsfield. Biden said at a fund raised in Norwich, VT that I attended in 2020 that he learned to ski at Sugarbush when he was at Syracuse Law School.

Blaine County ID 64% for Harris
Summit County UT 57% for Harris

I bet most of those rural Vermont counties were closer.

I am sure there will be something put out by SB once they get things sorted out.

Mt Ellen will be fine, I imagine, though I don't know how far out they will make the security perimeter... If they are at LP, good luck, folks. Maybe they will rent one of the little COVID cabins...

I have no idea how they secure a ski area, so I am skeptical that this will even happen.
