I have ski friends coming up from VA Saturday. Fun.

Why did they not go to Big Sky? Madison County was 71 to 26 Trump.

Can only think that they know someone up in the mrv because logistically it makes f* all sense

I've heard Vance is a Church goer... after the warmup this week and re-freeze that might require some blessings

Vance is from Ohio...maybe he told his staff that he wanted to go Mad River Mountain and they got confused?

imagine what kind of pathetic unemployed loser you would have to be to protest? it's kind of dumb that he's coming, but i wouldn't give a fuck if tim walz came to ski at sugarbush.
Rob, you are showing your inexperinece in all things Vermont. In VT, Protest is a right of passage for everyone. I think Political activisim is installed into the drinking water. ;-)

Also FYI, this might explain the five state troopers I saw leaving Mt. Ellen one day last week. Thought there was some kind of calamity but found no police reports so..

agreed,... Sugarbush is just not set up to handle a high profile person in the middle of peak ski season. I'm just trying to imagine him getting on lifts with his family and security detail,... obviously they cut the line, but how do they secure them when on the trails?

I can't even begin to imagine trying to come up with a security plan for this (and based on VT Digger, they have confirmation from the Governor's office so doesn't seem to simply be a rumor).

Never mind all the wacky protesters this will bring out. (That might be my bigger concern).

Give him VH lift and close all access and let him ski the Mall? No idea. Crazy. Mall man will be pissed.

I was thinking that could be the plan,… he takes over a whole pod and they close it off to the public. VH would be the only lift that would make sense to do it. I just can’t imagine they would close off a lift or trails to people that have paid for lift tickets and passes so JD can get a day of skiing.
