“Our Acceptance Test for the new Heaven’s Gate Quad, which is when Doppelmayr hands us the keys, is scheduled for the end of the week. After that we take a couple of days to run tests and make sure everything is good to go before moving to pull out all construction equipment and get the lift inspected for opening. We still anticipate that to be mid-December.”

The blog did mention low water supply, but it also said they were going to light up Valley House.

Still no guns on anywhere today.
Might as well just fill the pond during the day and run the guns when it's cheapest if you know you're going to empty it by morning/before the end of the cold snap anyway. Same gallons on hill, less money spent.

The stream gauge on the Mad River downriver at Moretown is reading below 25th percentile flows for this day of the year - so the premise that the water situation is still pretty dire is plausible for them (and for most other places in New England not blessed with particularly robust water sources).
