Don't know of any, but Tognar.com has a ton of info and tutorials.

Check the swix website. I know their reps travel around and do demos.

I've suggested many times to the guys at snohaus that they should have workshop and offer a 10% discount on tuning equipment after the seminar. Always falls on deaf ears...

....

Ditto on anything in-person, but Tognar's and SVST's stuff is really good...*along with Epicski's Tuning Forum
**"AtomicMan" has a nice archived entry there(Epicski)...(..think Phil will agree....Phil you crack me up.. )
It's great to be able to do it yourself(after some tries...get some rock skis to practice on!!).
The convenience and enjoyment..and savings, especially if you have a crowd, ya' can't get that service with any super busy shop..overnight...and your skis can be mint every skiday...

Good point on Tongar. I finally got their catalog the week before last. They only send em' out once a year. The advice in there is fantastic...lots of good info! I'm slowly rebuilding my tuning collection. I used to do my own skis back in the day. The only thing that's really different is structuring the base; that seems to be more prevelant for the DIY tuner these days. I've got the wax, I've got the scraper, a few edge sharpeners, scored an iron from tramdock and a set of swix vises. I just need to a structure tool and I'm set. Oh, I have to build a work bench in the boiler room as well. And a florescent light needs to be added.
