I joined here a long time ago, but have been pretty inactive. Mostly I've been active on epic. This has just changed, and I plan on getting more involved, particularly next season!

You all seem like a great bunch!

In the meantime I want two mountains by my avatar, so I'm shamelessly padding my post count with this post.

Curious did you leave Epic or do you just need more ski talk in your life?

Still active over there, just a totally different vibe.

This place seems a lot more about the here and now of skiing - epic more about the there and then!

Epic is lame! Those guys think their sh*t don't stink.

Too many instructors on that board...it's like when Hermann Maier was interviewed after having a really bad race...he said "I ski bad today, I ski like ski instructor". ;)

Well just for the record I am a ski instructor! However I'm by no means the type that thinks there's a right and a wrong way to do things.

Warp Daddy, thanks for the welcome back!

As to epic, I've learned a lot over there some extremely knowledgeable people. Just like in life you need to find the good and ignore the rest of the stuff.

BTW: like the Coolidge quote. One of may favorites.

I used to poke around Epic as well before spending most of time here for past few seasons. Much prefer the New England focus @ AZ and TFT.

Skimangojazz: My post was directed toward yours... regarding the vibes of the websites rather than at any particular member(s) of either board. I meant no ill will.

Welcome back. Most of us here don't know what the eff we're talking about most of the time, but we usually admit it at least. ;)
