Not sure, probably liquid. However, I was told that the temp went down to 7 degrees on top of Whiteface Saturday into Sunday.

Sounds more like solid to me. That's a DEEP freeze. You can't melt the ground ice that 7 degrees creates in one day unless it hits 70+. As I said the other day, The loaf could be blowing NOW. If it's 7 on top of whiteface, you can be damn sure it's 20 or less on top of the loaf!
