Hey All
I was origionally planning on skiing in NY this weekend but terrain looks to be extremely limited so I'm driving up to Vermont instead. I'm leaving tomorrow morning and driving up to the Okemo area. Sunday is canned fod day at Okemo..with 3 cans of food you can score a lift ticket for $25. They're currently charging $25 so I can't pass that up. They currently have 8+ miles of terrain and 19 trails but by Sunday they should have a few more trails open. The crowds will likely thin out early that day but I have off work Sunday so I can ski as late as I want and partake in some Apres-Ski. Then I'm driving up to Killington and probably staying somewhere on or near the Access road. Then Monday I'll have the pleasure of skiing an empty Killington. Right now they have 11 miles of terrain open and 31 trails but by then there could be more open. Now that I'm starting to get my ski legs back from recent outings at Mount Snow and Big Boulder..I'm looking forward to getting some mad steezy speed and vert...If anybody will be at either of these mountains..let me know..
