Just mapped the distance from the Cumberland Farms in Gorham to the Irving gas station in Bartlett. Can't believe it's 22 miles. Seems like it shouldn't be that far. I was a big fan of Grants when my wife used to live in Intervale, dumpy though it was. Felt like that store at the base of the Sugarloaf access road. A rip-off, sure but you're grateful to have it.

Sucks that Gorham doesn't have better options. It's a good spot.
Gorham's Super Walmart has everything needed in a Supermarket, good prices. Gorham also has resteraunts , bars and motels, Tractor Supply etc. WTF more do you expect in a Northern NH town? I figured Gorham would grow along with the crowds Epic passes bring.

Has anyone noticed that lifts have been disappearing from websites of Vail-owned mountains? Rover at Crotched and Lookout at Stowe are both gone. Was wondering if any others went poof and if anyone knew why.

Only difference is Kenny comes back…
I hope its not really gone because that lift is resistant to wind and gets you a good bit farther up the mountain than the 6-pack.

It also doesn't usually have a line. Can actually get you faster laps than Fourrunner, although idk if the new 6 changed that.

The 6 doesn't go as high...only blue terrain unless you cut across to hayride..

Did snap a pic of it the last time I was there. I believe it is the only list operating in the East that has a chair numbering as high as 206 (pictured). Sundance at Mt Snow went a little higher. I wonder what the greatest number of chairs will be with Lookout gone (maybe Long Haul at Montage - it got pretty close to 200), as well as who may buy Lookout.

West Mtn Double at the Loaf is something like 250, but is gonna be shortened this summer.

Gorham greatest growth is from the explosion of ATV's, access for them on public roads, hundreds of miles of trails, both old and new, and ATV State Park, etc. The place is mobbed with them all summer and fall, even more of them than snowmobilers in the winter. A lot of the long time locals aren't happy about the impact they are having on the local community, resources, and environment.

Interesting list but not comprehensive per my picture of Lookout and recollection of old Sundance

Seems like 4/16 is it for NH.

Bretton Woods used to always run until Patriots Day with a special that day that got you an early season discount the following season. Guess they no longer do that?

Looking at next weeks forecast that seems shortsighted. I would straight up bounce as a passholder.
