Yet another Vail Resorts lawsuit surely incoming.
A kid fell off the OBX @ Canyons a few hours ago, apparently falling 25 or 30 feet & partially hitting the ski patrol's landing pad. Condition currently unknown.

EDIT: Apparently they took the child to SLC, which is not great news, because if it was just a broken arm or something they would go to Intermountain PC.
I'm not seeing anything in the news about this yet......

I do appreciate attitash and wildcat being the only mountain in the MWV besides bretton still open on weekdays. Skied attitash today, was awesome. They definitely didn’t make any money with the 10 people skiing but they took the L with pride. I wish pleasant with the big boyne money would step up and do the same.

Epic’s site doesn’t mention being able to use next years pass during the current spring season. Am I reading this right? Seems like a missed opportunity. I’m considering skiing Cattitash tomorrow but don’t want to buy a ticket and don’t have a pass for the current season.

Always been that way for Epic Passes. Folks buying an Epic pass now for next season, don't have access to the resorts still open this season. If you are renewing a pass, you're good on the current season pass. If you are buying an Epic Pass product for next season, and don't currently have one that is valid for this season, you are out of luck right now

There’s a way to cheat a single day out of Vail, which I did a few years back.

If you buy a day ticket this season, and you KNOW you‘re getting Epic pass next season, you can apply the cost of that one day ticket towards your new season pass. (Unless Vail decided to remove that incentive since, that is)

Up to $100 as per https://epicpass.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6063062737563-Promotion-Season-Passes-Redemption
Lift ticket for Attitash or Wildcat for tomorrow is currently $103 on their website

Consider the source - interesting that top of list consists of defense contractors. . . . . maybe shareholder and customer satisfaction should be main contributors and survey 50% shareholders ( or just use metrics of their counterparts in the industry, S&P comp, or something) and 50% customer survey,

It's always perspective, ain't it?

1 and 2 year stock price isn't impressive- but they do pay a dividend.

I know its been the subject of much complaining but I drove past Wildcat on the way home from Sunday River yesterday. I have been there several times in my life but I don't remember her looking as good as she did yesterday. I mean maybe it was the weather, the recent storm but the 2 liftlines, (the quad and old gondi line) looked totally skiable and there were several trails that looked beautifully bumped up. Should have stopped to take a photo. Really stoked the desire to get back there at some point.

The place has been skiing glorious the past month. Early season has been the issues but when it's skìng like it is currently it doesn't really matter who owns it. I'm there first thing tomorrow.

It reminded me somewhat of driving past Beaver Creek on I-70. I mean that in this way. One thing is for sure when you drive through a neighborhood, you can tell a "well kept" property. Beaver Creek is a "well kept" property. (no $urprise there) Yesterday Wildcat looked to me like a "well kept" property.

It's been run better this year imo. I've been a happy customer except for December but I don't early season skiing too seriously. The bars been open and the chairs spinning. They groom nicely but leave alot of the hill alone which most people like the natural feel.

Really most trustworthy?
They actually are near the bottom of their respective category. They only beat Wendy's. :ROFLMAO: It also seems that almost every other company in America made this list.
