Seeing this trend unfold in real time makes me sad about the state of the sport.

The jig is up for Vail and now they have some explaining to do. Fucking money ruins everything!

Hey TB, what does RK have to say?

Bet all those people would be really pissed off if they saw what we have been skiing the last 2

I'll be there tomorrow 8:30am sharp! Finally looking forward to open terrain, and sans tourist hoard!

That looks like it might be something in the area of Peak 5'ish? Mystic Pines maybe?

They wouldn't be skiing that - it isn't groomed

Fairly accurate statement.

I mentioned this last season, but that might be the best thing about Park City; it's a beginner/intermediate magnet. Expert stuff stays fantastic for eons.

It was mystical for sure...like what snagged my ski...ripped a bit off the base..and sent me flying...just landing next to a tree.

The fun just won't stop......

Even though this will generate a lot of negative press, Plaintiff & Council may want to review Section G of the Epic Pass t&c's.

(Venue needs to be CO, and class action is waived by all Epic Pass users)

Steven's Pass pass holders threatened a similar class action suit a couple years ago when Ops were so bad.

Vail ended up acknowledging shortcomings and discounting renewals, vrs litigation.

I rarely fall, and fell 3 times today (Mercury, Pinball Alley, Gallery). In Pinball Alley it was an exposed rock that from skier's point of view was snow covered / invisible, only after passing it could you see the entire rock exposed. Waxing needed. What a fantastic day though! Storm outperformed expectations.
