So, apparently Wildcat has the Bobcat running again for the weekend. 70% of their terrain open, but zero heavy hitters on their expert terrain. Maybe this storm Sunday changes that. I'm sure March will be great there per usual and many will forget the three months of piss poor performance.

Maybe they should consider selling a pass from March 1st on. I'd possibly consider it other than I really don't want to give Vail another dime. We have two Epic Day passes we hope to use over February break. Hope to use them at Wildcat and Sunapee. Next year I'm out on Vail completely. Only reason I bought some Epic Day passes the past couple of years was to show my kids where I used to ski all of the time.

WTAF?! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Wow, that guy REALLY thinks that Vail Sucks! Tying Vail to the Opioid Crisis? Jesus!

He's not technically wrong, it's just a really bizarre linkage. It's like if the Eagles win the Superbowl this weekend, then someone blames the Chiefs loss on the Giants not signing Barkley.

... any of those expert trails have or need snowmaking?

Stowe's crew finished up for the season yesterday. Place is buried. Wonder if Vail transfers them to NH?

They used to make snow on Black Cat and occasionally Starr Line when they went deep into Spring, but I don't believe Vail ever has made snow on those trails. Spring bumps on Black Cat can be awesome

Alley Cat (blue) is another that was always blown on, but I don't think they have this year.

I would jump on a reasonable late season pass. I'll be there for 2 weeks in March but don't have an Epic pass. Looking at Cannon, Cranmore, Black, etc.

You're assuming that Vail HQ remembers that it owns Wildcat as well. ;)

Yeah I agree. I did some research and found the article version of his video with hyperlinks to some items. There was one skier who wrote an opinion piece for POWDER saying that she was glad that Peaks was gone because of the Sacklers, but that was one skier. And I found a Forbes, Washington Post, and one other article that did mention the Sackler connection to Peaks, but one of those articles relied on a person with knowledge saying that the Sackler fund that was invested in Peaks had not received any money from Purdue Pharma.

But you and I are on the same page.

I don't think it's that he's clueless, I think he has a bit of a speech impediment.
Well if he has a speech impediment I take my comment back. I still dont give his rankings credence though after I saw his video skiing pipeline at Snowbird

It's almost 8am and the snow report isn't updated. This should have 11 inches on it.

Also, apparently their snow report team owns a DeLorean.
