Avalanche today at Park City. RPG was stopped for a good 30 minutes I'd say to make way for the helicopters landing. so took Short Cut down. I literally just commented yesterday how avy conditions are going to be about as bad as could be right now, and sure enough some idiots went into Dutch Draw anyway. Luckily as we were leaving we heard all 3 of them survived, but the search was still going on as there were reports it was thought there was a 4th person in there.

4th person buried 5’ deep thankfully he had a beacon and lived…

I think there was one slide with three involved off Dutches and a second one off Peak 5 that the guy was buried in

If you cant get away from a zoo on a monday..im done..
One might think that folks decided that today was a good day to take off after the recent storms and the Super Bowl. Unfortunately now there are a lot of folks in UT that think the same way......

It was a zoo last tuesday...obx was down..but no new snow..nothing special going on..over 1 hour wait at the rpg...
Its a zoo everyday now...

And you cant even climb to get away from crowds...
We climbed to high notch at Alta first thing in the morning...with about 40 people...
Theres no...where...to hide....

I do ski alta quite a bit...but i was trying to work at pc...that hasnt worked out..and ive lost interest in it..having yet to do it.
Actualy dreading getting called on this weekend..will be a total shit show.
Sbird is a zoo...brighton was ok..but went early season and solitude needed snow when i went..have to explore that more.
I could ski Alta the rest of my life and be very happy.
