WTF now.....
The Cat is using up all it's lives this year.....

On another note:\
Black was fantastic on Sat., BEST man made snow I've skied in a long time.
Wifey did King Pine on Sunday, "Much better than Attitash on Sat"

Not sure if anyone actually skis Crotched, but just noticed that Rocket is closed again and they buried that news halfway through the snow report. I can't believe that lift was built at Ascutney in 2000, it looks like it's from the 80s and that's definitely not a good thing.

And here..it comes..

Article highlighting the LATE APEX (shareholder) request:

and the LATE APEX - Vail Overview & Plan ... 88 page presentation, echoing a lot of what's included in these 614 pages.

I ski Crotched all the time. It's my go to for a quick hit being the closest decent vertical mountain by far at about 30 miles. I can usually find a parking spot within feet of the snow. The Rocket lift is great, with a 4 or so minutes ride, although the last couple of years it's been at around 800 feet per minute most of the time instead of 1000. That said, it sucks royally if it goes down, and I would never knowingly go when it goes belly up, which is not often. Alas, it is aging, but what you see is likely it for the foreseeable future. I only wish that Wildcat had their shit together as good as Crotched.

Just read a post over on a different social media ski group where someone did a deeper dive into Late Apex Capital, and apparently they found that they (Late Apex) have an incredibly small, bordering on non existant, online presence. Wonder if this will end up being an AI generated fake? Definitely some solid points though that were brought up for folks to think about.....

Fricking ridiculous... Cat has 7 trails open = 14%.
Only 1 lift "scheduled" but presently on Wind Hold.
Snowcat lift is done for now - Needs a new control panel.
Bobcat is also done, due to a groomer taking out the top shack.

What's next ...????
