Anyone know the date when the first price increase hits the Epic Pass?
Typically the 1st actual price increase has been late Summer. The 1st cut off deadline, which usually is mid/late May in past years gets one the whatever the maximum number of discounted Buddy Passes for that particluar pass product, then between that 1st cut off date and the late Summer date, the pass prices in past years haven't changed, but the Buddy passes are either decreased in number or not there if I recall correctly.

Regardless, they will send ample e-mails and flood social media ads as the deadlines near

Last year the Local pass increased $15 for an adult pass after end of May. Then another $15 after September. So the price increase is (or was) pretty small. But less Buddy passes after middle of April. Luckily I have no friends.

Very annoying that Vail removes entire sections of their resorts from the lift/trail report when they close that section for the season. Example, Blue Sky Basin is now closed at Vail, so now it's completely gone from the lift/trail report. That allows Vail to show that they have 242 of 251 trail open, close to 100%. In reality they have maybe 75% open???

I guess their not consistent Beaver Creek removed the lifts but not the trails. Mount Snow didn't remove anything.

Snowing pretty good in the MWV. Having wildcat closed this early in April is going to make for a very dreary and long spring. Contemplating a a Sunday River pass for next year.

It's called creative accounting.

"Don't worry man, they will be back but only if you stay EPIC! Renew now before the price goes up."

They are a publicly traded company that gets audited. They might obfuscate their snow report but I doubt they are Enron.
Probably correct, but if I was in a, "find the accounting irregularity" pool, they'd be a high draft pick. They obfuscate and lie about the most trivial of matters (parking availability, terrain open, lift lines, scheduling, etc...), and when you lie about small things, it's almost certain you lie about important things.
