Hi and welcome to the forum. This Thread will help get you started. There is no lack of places to have fun after a day of skiing. We usually rent a house when a group of us go up, so I can't recommmend a hotel. Look around, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one.

Where to stay.

Check this out: http://www.mountainsportsinn.com/ We stay here frequently. Plain, but nice rooms, hot tub, and a good breakfast (Eggs cooked to order, bacon, pancakes, etc.) They also have rooms large enough for three or more. We usually pay around $80 for two (non-holiday) including breakfast. Not bad for the access road.
