They usually shoot for T-day, but if it's cold enough I bet they can get a couple trails open for the weekend.

It will be a great week for the to make snow. I wish I could see it on their webcam, if they ever get it back up again.

There is precedent for pre-day after thanksgiving opening, if I recall correctly.

If Wa is open this saturday, you best believe I will be there bright n early. Otherwise, Jiminy is looking tempting...

I wanted to see the guns going, but I couldn't find the webcam on the new website layout. :(

You have to drill down through the media center link. But it's not operational, because when you click on the webcam link it just boots you back to the homepage.

They're not supposed to start until tonight anyway.

Snow Report for Monday, November 17, 2008.

Great news! The forecast this week calls for ideal snowmaking temperatures which will allow us to kick off the 2008-2009 season even earlier than expected.

With overnight temperatures into the 20’s forecast all week, snowmaking operations will begin Monday night and continue throughout the week as weather permits. Our early snowmaking efforts will focus on the Ralph’s Run and Challenger trails and the Ollies beginner area.

Weather permitting, we anticipate opening for the season on Saturday, November 22 for day and night skiing and riding with at least 3 trails and 2 lifts operating including the Minuteman Quad and Ollies carpet. Additional terrain will open as snowmaking allows.

There has got to be a better explanation. WTF they always open with Conifer. I'm a century pass holder but will gladly drive to jiminy if Wa's summit quad is not running. I'm not skiing those crap trails.
