Sugarloaf: I went there a long time ago, with my family for 5 days straight. The gondola was broken 4 days, and on the fifth day, they finally fixed it, but to my disappointment, all the trails minus whatever they call that intermediate one were closed. The trails that I did manage to ski, I enjoyed very much, especially the trails in the king pine area

sugarbush, and smuggs. i went during the freeze/thaw in january last year while i was visiting UVM. saturday at the bush was 55 degrees with no snow except way up top, and sunday at smuggs was -5 with 80mph winds and solid ice!! so i didnt exactly have ideal conditions:-o Saddleback i've been twice and cant wait to go again but IMO sugarloaf still has better terrain and glades and w/ my sugarloaf/asc pass it's hard to justify buying a lift ticket. that said, i'll be at saddleback on all the blackout days!:spread:

Stowe - earned some turns in the post season. Would love to get there when the lifts are spinning.
MRG - I am a horrible on two planks so i dont think i would get much out of a visit unless....
Cannon - Rode there for half a day on blue ice. Still had fun. Would love to get to Mitttersill in some fresh.
