Andy, thanks for the compliment though I probably have miles to go to improve. The feeling is mutual, my friend. Can't believe I met all you folks only in February. We should all see each other before the ski season begins and have a "pray for snow" party. Trailboss and everyone from Burke-apalooza should be there too.

Bellayre end of April. Huge rains down low, but snow on the mountain, with rain creeping up the elivation throughout the day. Last run was down from the far right chair down to main lodge. No idea on trail names.

Killington, April 7th. I'd gotten last chair on the Glades Triple....waited at the top for 10 minutes or so for it to clear out, and took a nice leisurely run down through the powder.

May 11th. Burke Mountain, Dippers. My slow speed quads got me to the top....I skied patches of snow down in a thunderstorm.

March 30th at Sunday River. Shouldn't have gone but had to try out my new skis once before the end of the season. I found out the day before that I had a herniated disc. The Dr. said no yard work for me but he didn't say anything about skiing! By the end of the day, I could barely walk. I am looking forward to making up for lost time this season though.

Perfect Glacier...........Sorcerer Lodge

Last day of the season was April 26 at Sorcerer Lodge outside of Golden BC. Sorcerer (www.sorcererlodge.com) is a heli in hut about a 20 min flight from Rogers Pass which connects Golden and Revelstoke. It was a great week, with great weather, only a couple whiteout days. The whole group (a private trip I put together) had an incredible time, with cook outs on the deck grill, fresh BC salmon filets, and tons and tons of pow. Pow in April you say, you bet. The northern aspects held glacial boot top deep the entire week..........hit it up sometime, you will love a hut trip, it's the perfect way to end the season. Check out the pic, this was what it looked liked after the crew tracked it out...............

Wow, that looks gorgeous. Funny, I was just contemplating trying to get in the lotter for a spot in the Bill Putnam hut.
