Kudos to Eric for reporting at 5:45 a.m.! I'm sure he does it from home while drinking a good cup of coffee!
Like he said, in the age of the Intenet, you have to be transparent. We installed two webcams at Killington last season and have two more coming on line in the next couple of weeks - one at Pico and one at Bear Mountain.
In addition, we report conditions at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, with the 4 p.m. report geared toward what we're projecting for the next day.
However, if there is a big snow event, such as what happened earlier this week, we'll update through the morning starting at 6 a.m. to try and provide the most accurate picture of what you can expect when the lifts open at 9 a.m., or 8 a.m. on the weekends.

You were reporting 17.5" of snow (past 24 hours) when I was up there yesterday afternoon. I would say that was accurate. You probably could have even rounded up to 18" and gotten away with it... ;)
